Annual Holiday Luncheon

Learning and growing together

Each December we get together for a social event at the Winterville Cultural Center. We have good food from our members, we expand our friendships and advisors, and an opportunity to pay the next year's dues

Tribute to JP Reichman Athens GA.jpg

A time to remember and give thanks to our patrons

During the year of our 100th anniversary as an organization, we received news that the Trust of J. Paul Reichman Art Museum Trust named the Athens Art Association as a beneficiary. Although he was not an active member of the Athens Art Association, he enjoyed painting and visiting museums and art sales to see and enjoy the work of other artists

Mr. Reichman suffered from Dystonia which is a form of Parkinson’s disease.  He appreciated art and cared about leaving what he had to support art in Athens. We are very appreciative of this lifetime gift which will allow us to expand opportunities for both our members and the wider community. Thank you J. Paul Reichman
